Welcome to Carolina Restorative & Implant Dentistry, the first prosthodontic office in Columbia, SC. We are proud to have served our local community and the Midlands for over 30 years.
Dr. Robert Holland is a prosthodontist, one of twelve dental specialists recognized by the American Dental Association. He diagnoses critical dental problems and manages them by finding solutions and planning treatment accordingly.
Our goal is to deliver long-lasting, high-quality restorative dentistry and walk with you through your life-changing and critical treatment.
What Is a Prosthodontist?
In addition to earning a Doctorate of Dental Medicine, Dr. Holland completed an extended three years of additional study and training to receive certification in prosthodontics.
All prosthodontists are accredited dentists, but only three percent of dentists have earned the right to be called a prosthodontist.
Dr. Holland works with all dental professionals, such as other specialist colleagues, general dentists, dental hygienists, and laboratory technicians, to meet our patients' specific needs.
He also consults and collaborates with the dental team to offer our patients customized treatment plans and explain the advantages, disadvantages, risks, prognosis, and anticipated duration.
The complex treatment plan we offer patients does not come with a quick decision. It requires time, effort, and collaboration between the dental team and the specialist to ensure the best outcome and longevity of the dental work we complete for the patient.
